We take the foundation's special need for financial security into consideration by investing 40 to 50 percent of our capital in very safe, fixed-income investments.
We do not invest in government bonds because, from our point of view, every government somehow violates our negative criteria.
We do not invest in annuity funds, because those funds usually, in turn are invested in government bonds. In addition, the costs are quite high. As of yet we have not found annuity funds with ethical and sustainable criteria which brings more returns than our own investment.
We buy bonds in order to keep them until maturity. Therefore, possible fluctuation is not relevant to us.
